Preface
Recently, a customer told us packets loss. Although network traffic was normal in individual room, but packets ware dropped when accessing the server from office area. That lead to can’t hold a video conference, seriously affecting the normal office.
Fault Description
Failure phenomenon is to drop packets erratically, packet loss rate is 1-2%, that affects the network transmission. Maximum packet loss rate was generated from the communication between the server, other packet loss rate was smaller. Packets ware not dropped when individual hosts ping computer of parent organization.
Failure Analysis
Because packets loss exist in entire network, we connect the computer to install Ax3soft Unicorn Network Threat Analyzer to the core switch and capture packets.
